Police believe the baby of Constance Marten was dead for some time before its remains were found in woodland in the Brighton area.
Ms Marten and her partner Mark Gordon went missing with their child in January – they were arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter this week in Brighton and are being questioned by police.
